Door County Collector Car Tour Join Us   If you enjoy driving your collector car then tour with us this fall in Door County Wisconsin. Tour dates are October 1-2, just in time for the fall colors. For those not familiar with the VMCCA:   The Veteran Motor Car Club of America is a touring club for enthusiasts of any collector car. We drive the most scenic roads to the most interesting places. Some places are well known tourist attractions yet others you may have never found on your own. Many tours are open to any collector car and some are restricted to chrome or nickel age cars or 2 cylinders, etc. Membership in the club is required for the tour. First time membership is only $19 (online registration). Visit vmcca.org for more information. This tour is open to any collector car. Limit 25 cars. It is a two day tour October 1-2. Touring starts 8am on Friday. Entry fee is minimal, you will pay your own way into attractions. One day we will taking the car ferry to Washington Island. This is approximately $48 round trip for a typical car and two adults. Our destinations may be: Maritime Museum FireBoat Cruise Door Peninsula Winery Washington Island Farm Museum Eagle Bluff Lighthouse and more There will also be many shops and farm markets along the route. WagonTrailCampground.com Updates: We have secured some rooms at The Hillside Inn 3-1/2 miles away in Ellison Bay.  Mention VMCCA for group rate.  Phone 920-854-2928. Now more rooms have become abailable at our host hotel so we may not need rooms at Hillside Inn.  So far no one has.  Your choice, it may be cheaper at Hillside but you may be by yourself. We will now be having our Friday lunch catered on the Fireboat during our cruise.  Meals were not included in the tour registration fee so I will have to collect $10 per person lunch money on Friday.
